Ok so i am a military member and body piercings (except ears for girls) are a definate NO. You can get into MAJOR MAJOR trouble because its in the uniform code that its not allowed. But my tongue has been pierced for ever and i had invested way to much money in rings to just let it close on me. For a while i was wearing the clear ball and the clear rod until one day i got pulled into my commanders office and he told me if he ever sees it again i was going to get paper work (YIKES!). So i bought this baby and let me tell you NO ONE KNOWS!!!! i laugh and talk all the time... and i work in the commanders office so im always talking to officers and higher ups!... Yeah the little o-ring is annoying to get on and it does fall off at times but it really doesnt matter to me. I dont wear the o-ring anyways i just stick the retainer in through the bottom and im on my way. so for me this product is GREAT! hope this review helps...

Working for a fast food industry, peircings are a huge NO. I did not get a hole thru my tongue so it can heal in 2 hours while I am at work, so I bought this item to keep the hole open and my boss's silent. I was happy I got two, incase I should lose one. I do wish it came with a few extra rubber bands, seeing as its clear and they are tiny. I wear it for 7-9 hours 5 days a week and am happy to report the band is still very tight on the post. I had worried the band would become weak and I would swallow the post. I am very pleased, and nobody notices.

This is good for work. But, before you eat or chew gum take it out. I shallowed the bottom ring all the time!
